Lifeguards: Unfortunately, Prince Kuhio Beach does not currently employ lifeguards.

Directions & Parking: Directions & Parking: From Lihue, take Highway 50 west towards Kaumualii Highway. At Maluhia Road turn right, then make an immediate left onto Koloa Road before turning onto Poipu Road for parking.
At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Lawai Road (sign for "Spouting Horn"). Drive parallel to the coast; once you see Beach House Restaurant on your left side look for street parking spaces.

Prince Kuhio Beach can be reached quickly after parking and crossing the street; simply head downhill towards the seashore!

Additional Tips: For those in search of snorkel gear and information, Boss Frog's is located nearby; their shop can be found up the stairs and directly adjacent to Beach House Restaurant.
