Come join us on Saturdays at 8:30am near the lifeguard station in front of Morgan Pond to experience a truly inspirational experience. Visitors and locals join together to create a positive impact at our beach. We gather to carry on the legacy of John Lydgate who was a passionate supporter of Morgan Pond.
John Lydgate has left a lasting impression on our community with his tireless efforts to remove debris and driftwood from the water to create a safe swimming area for keiki. John Lydgate's unwavering dedication to cleaning up the park inspired many of our current volunteers.
We gather each week to clean the beach and preserve Morgan Pond's natural beauty. But we also remember John's love for the park as we share memories. The park, thanks to his vision, has become a hub for the community, with its playbridge, beach, pavilions and more.
We extend a warm invitation to anyone who wishes to contribute to this important cause. After our work, we invite you to stay and enjoy the camaraderie in our group. Together we can carry on John Lydgate’s legacy, and create a cleaner community that everyone can enjoy.
