The Highlights Tour of Waimea Canyon and Koke'e State Parks is a five-hour driving tour that offers visitors an ideal way to discover Kauai island's natural beauty. Tailored specifically to their interests and pace of their visitors, this private tour visits all official and unofficial overlooks of vibrant Waimea Canyon and Na Pali Coast; including short hikes of between 0.25 miles to 0.50 miles each (on relatively even terrain).
Starting in sunny Po'ipu and passing through Hanapepe (an arts town), our tour then heads south across Kauai's interior, from south to north along Waimea Canyon's rim before arriving at stunning Na Pali Coast views on Kauai's North Shore at an elevation of over 4,000 ft (1220 m).
Tour participants will visit some of the best canyon overlooks where they can take in breathtaking views of rainbow-colored canyon walls, 800-foot Waipo'o Falls, and lush island vegetation. There will also be time for stretching their legs along a short trail based on personal interests or local weather; visitors should wear layers of clothing as elevation can bring cooler temperatures.
