Allerton Garden

A visit to one of Kauai's botanical gardens will quickly remind you why Kauai is known as "The Garden Island". Allerton Garden has been named by numerous travel outlets and thousands of visitors as one of Kauai's top spots. The garden was designed by Robert and John Gregg Allerton in 1930, and its progenitor's vision continues to be maintained to this day. The house on the garden estate was once the residence of Queen Emma.

Bamboo, palm trees, fruit trees, ferns, flowers, and countless of their species of wildlife can be seen at the Allerton Garden. The location has been used as a film set for countless movies and shows. Allerton Garden is one of the 5 Gardens of the National Tropical Botanical garden organization in Hawaii.
