The Wailua River is a placid jungle stream that goes deep into the heart of the island. After your downwind paddle upstream, tie your kayak to a tree and take a somewhat rugged two mile hike up the valley to a dramatic 100' waterfall with a pool at the bottom. Swimming is encouraged. A delicious picnic lunch will be served. Then hike back down to the kayak for some more fun paddling. The paddle downstream is against headwinds, which makes this tour more strenuous than the Hidden Valley Tour. If you like a workout, this tour is for you. This is the most strenuous river kayak and hiking tour.
