Enjoy the entire He'eia State Park experience, from land to sea, complete with land-based education and instruction, a delicious Hawaiian BBQ lunch at the state park's scenic venue, and complimentary transportation to and from Waikiki hotels! This fantastic land-based experience of He'eia State Park is only $99/person. To join the guided kayak and snorkel adventure, in addition, is only $30/adult, and $10/child (ages 5-12).
The guided kayak and snorkel adventure may journey to Coconut Island, home of the Hawaii Institute of Marine Biology (and the real Gilligan's Island), or one of the bay's many unique patch reefs. In either case, it will be a beautiful snorkeling destination. Along the way, explore the protected water in search of sea turtles, rays, and tropical fish in their natural habitat. Your instructor will give an eco-talk about the bay's history, the different types of the reef and marine life you might see, and also explain some of the challenges facing the ecosystem of the bay.
The protected waters of the Kaneohe Bay make it a perfect place for paddlers of all skill levels. This hands-on approach makes it a safe and exciting learning experience for all ages.
All proceeds go to help support He'eia Learning Center.
No Infants. Ages 5+. All participants must be able to fit into at least a 30-50 pound life jacket
