This hike is 3 miles long and rated as moderate. Features incredible views of the polychromatic Waimea Canyon, fondly called the Grand Canyon of the Pacific. At the end of this hike there is the added attraction of a fragrant gingered covered waterfall and pool perched at the edge of the canyon. By this pool is where we end the hike with lunch and pause to enjoy the great quiet. On the way and upon the return be on the lookout for the beautiful flights of the white tail tropic bird over the Waimea Canyon and in the forest look for the fragrant Maile vine and our native Koa trees.
