This hike is approximately 11 miles long and rated as moderate to strenuous. This loop trail, in visual impact, rivals the more famous NaPali Coast Trail. It's rated the # 2 trail on Kauai. The Nu'alolo portion of the trail is in walking distance of the Koke'e Lodge and Museum. If there is enough time trekkers are encouraged to stop by this museum to enjoy its natural history exhibits, so they can put the Koke'e natural history and topography in perspective. This is a very long hiking extravaganza that takes you 4.25 miles from Koke'e Lodge to an overlook from NaPali and a crossover trail to Awa'awapuhi.
